Indexing backlink Required?

Whatever backlink you are creating, is it necessary to index it?
Is it mandatory in link building process?
Or Let Google find and index it naturally?

Yes its essential to index it
These days google having problem indexing links and they are working on a solution according to their twitter feeds
Unless your backlink is valuable google never index your links
so better index them manually .. over the time
