indexed pages matter?

Hi guys,

I am basic learner of SEO just for fun..,I have a question:

Indexed pages in Google really matters?
I just seen some site having 20 25 indexed pages in Google but their PR is 4-6

I would love to hear from you

The more important question would be where that page is ranking in the SERPs?

But yeah, it's possible for a small site to have a high PR, why not?
Depends what kind of backlink structure it has.

One of my sites is #3 in SERP for a very competitive keyword in its niche and has very little sites indexed.
#1 has 70.000 indexed pages, #2 has 1.200.000 indexed pages, #3 has 300 indexed pages

In the end it depends on the quality of the site and the quality of your link building campaign.

It really depends on what your trying to achieve. One of my site's I'm aiming for an authority site. I want to front page or preferably no 1 as many pages as possible. As they are variations on the key theme. But each have their own target keywords.

These sites have 20-25 indexed pages with quality materials in there niche and done batter SEO for there sites, as a result they get the batter PR with few pages.
