Hello all,
Is it necessary every time when I update content on my website to add them in sitemap?
I have a website facing this issue is this affect my website ranking?

Why do you add the content manually to the sitemap? Most CMSs have have automated sitemaps that will update content on their own. Do you use wordpress?
 
Then just install a plugin that builds a sitemap and automatically updates it. Most SEO plugins have it. Try all in one seo, yoast, or rankmath. They do the sitemap thing for you.

yoast automatically creates and maintains your sitemap. you dont need to do anything

check yourdomain.com/sitemap_index.xml

whatever you do, don't be going to google search console and asking it to reindex your site multiple times. you will hurt your ranking.
