indexation of backlinks

Hello , sorry for a noobish question, If our backlinks are still not indexed (not visible on google) does that mean, these backlinks are still inactive (do not give any power to our rankings and stuff) , and will activate only after indexation ?? Or they somehow act even without indexation?
Does ahrefs and other tools read only google indexed backlinks or they give u info about also non indexed?

There is nothing means like that... if links are not showing on Google so it doesn't mean they are not useful. Sometimes Google takes time to index page & links.

So wait for sometime... links will surely show on Google.

Not all links of world wide web are indexed by Google.

If your backlinks aren't indexed they have no impact on your ranking. That is why Tier 2 and 3 links are used for building links.
