Just tried making a post on a new blog, added 1 youtube video. No text, nothing at all.

Then i pinged it with the Video sitemap. and 10 seconds after.. Page indexed in google.

do u guys think it would be worthwhile to do this and have the page redirect to one of your own personal money blogs? maybe like iuse this method etc, buy a domain relevant to the new launch and then just link it to your own personal review on the soon to launch product?
 
I tried this with my blog that has 3 videos on 3 pages and I didnt see anything. I followed the video, but still dont see anything from spiders.
 
If you made 10 legit videos about your company and uploaded them spread over a couple of weeks and then submitted the site map, would it have the same effect and would you get blacklisted from Google?

Yes it will have the same effect. You wont be blacklisted by google for using video sitemap.
 
I would think that by adding content and making the page a bit more value Google would have no reason to "take you off".
 
Can you delete all the posts with the videos after you get a good ranking?
 
Made 5 posts each having a youtube video and then submitted video sitemap. About 5 hrs later no indexing yet.

Details:

Youtube video manually posted in each post.

Sitemap generated and submitted exactly as described in the video.

The domain is expired one with new blog set up.

Did I miss anything?

Is it only works with Wordpress? How about Drupal / Blogger?
 
Awsome Method!!! But I have a Question:
I have wordpress blog in my website and I just rewrite the website URL's. If i apply this method, will google Index my new URL's or not??
 
BAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I have been trying to rank my subdomains for 4 days... even bought backtracks and blasted them, nothing.

I install WP and do this trick and the subdomain gets indexed in less than 5 min!

NICE! Should have done it from the start.
