I rather stupidly tanked my website on Google.

I had built some back links pointing to my website that I wanted to be indexed.

As in the past index services are so hit and miss, I decided to purchase 5 in one go - Stupid of me I know

Within three days of paying for this service my website had dropped from average #6 on SERPs to #30 and is still dropping.

I did no other SEO activity in this time so I'm certain it was the index service.

I just wondered, when you buy an index service what do they actually do?

Is there anything I can undo? Or do i just have to wait it out?

thanks

So u built links to you site and then tried to index those. It is not indexing service problem u had. Your links were made visible to google bots and then it tanked. I would say indexing services made good work that google found your links.

It's just a coincidence. My site also got tanked to due to recent updates, it's just a part of the game.

You didn't point the indexing service to your money site, right? If you didn't then the problem is likely somewhere else.

OK - I understand, in hindsight, you're probably correct... I'll get them removed!

Zero to do with the links.

It was the Google 8th of November core update.

It's a harsh one and many sites have tanked.

Google is crazy, this is happening because of the updates, one minute your links are there, the other they disappear.

The best choice is to wait, 50% it's because of the Google last update, and if not. It will be about the links (50%). So you must wait for a few weeks, if rankings are still dropping try to remove the links and re-build new ones.
