Index or Noindex Tag Pages

My website has about 50 articles and each one with 2-3 tags. Tags pages are very thing (they only include the title of articles and a link to them)

You think it's best to set these tag pages as noindex, or would that be a bad move?

Definetely noindex tag pages as these links are thin and duplicate content for Google, lowering your SEO score.

Also, having the same tags as the keywords you're going for can lead to over-optimization so it's recommended that you avoid them unless they are general ones.

Yup, you don't need to use tag pages anymore. Categories are just fine enough with that.

Even though I see many bloggers using 20 tags for their post. Mostly the mommy ones.

usually noindex them but u can also add a paragraph of content to them and possible get some organic traffic
