index or noindex sitemap.htm?

What do you advise me? Should I index, follow or noindex, follow an HTML sitemap (sitemap.html)? The sitemap contains around 600 links (internal links).

In my experience, the Googlebot does not index those pages simply because they don't help the searcher. However, it's true that sometimes they're indexed, but from what I have seen they don't hurt the organic results. Simply put, it doesn't matter. Just make sure to include the link to the sitemap in the robots.txt file.

I agree with seo_seo_seo...but if you are still doubtful, i would recommend the NoIndex option...

Won't make a difference at all.
