But seriously Eli's tools all rock, I still use his ancient Blog Solution Template Generator and get great results with it.
 
It's not like there's a secret about this: I think anyone who gets into SEO in any capacity can "get it" after about a week of reading a few of the better blogs and forums.

I've said it before and I'll probably say it again: 90% of all the stuff people try to sell isn't worth it. There's TONS of good free info.

And yes SQUIRT rocks (I'm a member) but I concur about QUIT - it's simply an awesome tool and yes it's free.

Wanna get indexed in 24 hours without the benefit of a tool like that? Most of the time you can accomplish it by commenting on a few highly-trafficked blogs, or posting a couple links on bookmarking/social networking sites, or (easier yet) making a post on a simple free Blogger blog that you maintain for this very purpose and submit it to Pingoat or something.

Yeah, there's dozens of way to attract spiders/bots to your site and get crawled and then indexed.

But HERE'S what I think everyone really is after: getting a substantial number of a site's pages indexed. That's slightly more difficult, but by no means "expert-level" stuff.

Not to sound like an Eli-groupie here, but I think bluehatseo.com is essential reading. It has the information to help any noobie get up to speed.

I used QUIT but never got more than one or two pages indexed (waiting 3-4 days). Anyone tips for doing better? Are there similar services out there? btw: the pages to be indexed are on a subdomain, which has its own index.php and links to all other pages. Is that a problem??? :(

If I have a site with tons of subdomains like aaa.mysite.com and bbb.mysite.com with different content on them, can I submit each subdomain with the QUIT tool ?

I went to the QUIT tools page and it does recommend using it only once per site... but does this also apply to subdomains of the same site ?

I've used QUIT and SQUIRT and don't think they work as well, or better than, other techniques like Social Bookmarking, etc.
 
half of what quit is is social bookmarking... did i miss something? haha

its about quick indexing not indexing your whole site, hit up quit and do a link drop at the same time (oops, whitehat forum, oh well)

SQUIRT(Super Quick Indexing & Ranking Tool) is Eli's paid tool. It's in an exclusive membership site, so not publicly available. I've seen people selling SQUIRT submissions around other forums.

So basically if I have a new blog and I wan't to google index it fast I just need to submit it to several social bookmarking sites? What about submitting the url to google or using google webmaster tool? No need for that?

Well think of it like this, the search engines use little robot spiders to go out and find new stuff, they do this by navigating through links all over the internet. The best way to get a new site indexed would be to get those spiders to crawl all over your page like flies on shit. So a nice big popular social bookmarking site, with hundreds of thousands of people linking to it at any given time means lots of spiders. Getting your site on there means that the spiders will get to your page too!

On a personal note getting a few social bookmark backlinks gets me indexed very quickly usually 24-48 hours maximum. When I used the google webmaster tool to submit a site with literally 0 other promotion it took 3 weeks. Take that as you will.

I've found posting to the top 20 odd social sites, ala; digg, reddit, propella, etc gets me ranked 1-10 in under 24hrs. Thing is though, to raise up the rankings you just have to keep up the backlink building. Thanks for the BH quit site link, I gave that a whirl to see how it does. :)
 
the most recent site I made was indexed in less then a day without using any tools, or even submitting to google, matter fact, I dont even know how it was indexed..


But it was indexed
 
Great resource, I recently ran a test and my requirement was NO OUTSIDE HELP from any site in my networks, without boring people, I could get google to index fresh domains in 48-72 hours with two adsense blocks only on the index.php homepage, which must be switched out within 7-10 days, no other content, and I tested using my adsense account code and a premium adsense account code and found that the latter actually boosted the return fractionally, I was bored and I felt the need to mess with it.
 
I forgot to add something also and that was the length of the registration, I found no difference between 3-5yrs, both were looked well upon, and 1-2yrs had no value to add to the process as far as time was considered.
 
For fastest indexing I am using blogspot blog linking to the new site, along with a couple of social bookmarks. No search engine submission is needed at the beginning. Later you may submit the site map of you site to the major search engines, if you have large sites with many pages.

Stompernet had good video tutorials about the "natural way" SEO, explaining how you shall interlink your pages and how to use properly anchor text for your links.
