My local rugby club is having tryouts to get new players for the new season. They've approached me and asked for my help using Facebook ads to get more responses to their event, and obviously more people to the recruitment sessions.
I'm looking for advice from those who have experience with ads for FB events - how to not only get more responses but actually make sure those people turn up.
Here in continental (central) Europe, rugby is a bit of a niche sport, so obviously targeting the people is a must, but that'll take a bit of experimenting I guess.
One tip I was given, was to use my personal FB account to reach out to every 'random' person that responds 'going' or 'interested', thus making them feel like it's a little more than a random event on FB.
Would love to hear more tips from some veterans.
