Increase Mobile Rankings (#2 for Desktop / #11 Mobile)

Hi,

For some keywords I am ranked #2 on G for desktop searches, but for the same keyword only #11. What can I do to help this?

I have briefly looked at AMP, but the plugins I tried didn't work (or didn't work on pages 95% of my site contents is on pages, not posts).

Any help would be appreciated,
