Increase Ahrefs DR with Google

I was looking into competitor website on ahrefs and I saw this one using google redirects as backlinks.

It increased its DR in one month from 3 to 45.
I read this https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/tutorial-increase-ahrefs-dr-with-help-from-google-for-free.1225902/mentioning the method and the list of the google sites, but my question is where do you post the list with the links to be indexed?

Do I create web 2.0 and post them the list in them? Link profiles? Am I missing something? Has anyone here tried this?

I dont think he has created those links on purpose though. is there a way to create those backlinks?

I don't understand why people are obsessed with third party metrics. If you're not selling links, it's totally useless long as it's your site.

I don't care if my DR(or whatever is increasing or not), all I care about is my number of keywords, impressions, CTR to continue increasing which will subsequently lead to my traffic.

All these craze for gaming third party metrics makes no sense to me, unless of course Google uses those metrics to rank, clearly doesn't happen.

Those links were created to increase DR in ahrefs, OP included a thread which actually covers those links and how to make them.

@narc , you need to blast those links with thousands of crappy links and it will massively increase your DR but will do nothing for improving your rankings.

I wanna increase the DR of a client's site, as he's willing to pay for the DR boost. So the idea is to create backlinks from web 2.0s, forum profiles and comments etc. that point to each of the google links?

You got it.
I used 5k gsa links and it increased the DR but I did it on my test site and i wouldn't do it on my real money site. But I guess if your client wants to sell guest posts then...

I have seen websites with DR 50 with 0 ranking. All they did is getting redirect from Google properties.

And don't be fooled with 3rd party metrics. Google doesn't give a damn to Ahref, Moz metrics. They have their own metrics.

I would advise you to stick to basic methods; publish quality content and get quality backlinks from authority sites.
