Hey all,

Just curious if anyone has had to deal with this before.

Basically I decided to make my whois for a particular domain private, due to spam etc from my e-mail addressing being listed. The current whois information is incorrect.

Anyway my account was flagged and I have to verify the domain whois info, obviously as the data is incorrect, and knowing that in certain circumstances that the company can drop the domain, I'm not sure how to respond.

Note - I can't log into my account until I fax/scan them the details.

Cheers

Fake the details. It should be enough to send a bill with your name and address, and you can print that out yourself before taking a pic and sending it to them..

Sadly they want a government issued ID. But much worse, it's obvious that the address is made up.

Edit: Been reading their policy, I *may* get away with because it's my first breech, however if I don't, my account gets dropped with all the domains, bad times.
