Income from ads - taxed?

Hello guys and gals, I know it's probobly a really stupid question, but:
How is the income that i will gain from affiliate programs taxed?
I'm from the EU,
Our vat is 21%, so if I earn 10$ and it's taxed at 21% i get 7,9$, right?
Must I own a company to legally get the money, or what?
Is it very dependent on the country?
