Incentivised Membership Sites

I wanted to make a discussion about incentivised membership sites.

I want to know basically who uses these and how much money they make.

What means do you promote by and how well can you keep under the radar in your CPA networks.

Lets see what people are using.

Why would you need to stay under the radar of your CPA network when many of them have incentivised offers for you to advertise?

That is, unless you are offering incentives for offers that are allowed to be intentivised!

haha, yeah that might be what he was talking about,

but shit, you can find a good deal of incentivized offers and make a pretty penny dude.. and no need to "stay under the radar" as you so eloquently put it

The bottom line is that incentivised membership sites are very profitable.

I have a friend that was raking in $4k a month (first month income) from the site that used a basic script and had a very unprofessional design and mind you, it only took 20-25mins a day to manage.

Also, you can find incentivised offers so there is no need to keep under the radar.
I was actually going to go ahead and make one but competition rose greatly so I dropped the idea but that doesn't mean you cant make money.

Also, promotion is easy. Ill tell you now that all you need is 100 people to start off with and as current members refer theres your membership will grow rapidly and in terms of getting those 100 members to start off with, there are many freebie forums and communities where you can promote your site.

The only problem I do foresee is over - rinsing out your offers. This is why many freebie sites only last for 3-4 months.

ANway I hope I helped and in case your wondering why I'm not going into incentivised membership sites when I have so much knowledge about them is because I'm lazy.

oH AND just to say, the best time possible you could have launched your incentive site was when the BBC (UK media company) tested one of these sites to see if it was a scam or not. It was covered on the news and thousands of freebie seekers from the UK rushed on the net to get in with the craze!

Topam, thanks for the information. What are you talking about when "rinsing out your offers". Are there any decent scripts or example sites?

I've wondered about these as well...seems like everybody involved would win...somebody has to have some experience with them...think blackhatzen had a post about setting one up, but it was just enough to be inticing...

Yes, I think Incentivised sites have potential...however, I don't have any idea on it. Though I am using some other methods for incentivising offers through classified sites and other sources of traffic.

However, I haven't (or tried) to create an incentivised network of sites, though I think it can be profitable..I'll unleash my troops, to create these sites once I have time to figure it out...

Top secret note: there are forums filled with people that go to incentive sites that pay on time. The key is if you promise to pay on the 15th you better pay or you lose out on a big traffic and $$$$$ stream. These people actually sign up and do this for a living.

I used to run one and I earned $4k my first month until I got a C&D letter to stop because of trademark issues in my domain so I moved onto a better project. I should've fought for it but I was only 16 at the time.

Membership was very very viral but then again it was very niched for an incentivzed website

I take no credit for this. I got it from a thread here a couple months ago which I was unable to find again (searchy sucky on blackhatworldy cuz of obfuscatey). I have no idea where it originally came from (e.g. who wrote it), but I've glanced through the .php and it looks legit to me. Haven't actually used it yet so give it a whack and let us know how it goes for you.

i aswell have been looking into starting up an incentive freebie site... just need to put all the details together and promote it first step is a good script...

Most of them have some basic fraud detection tools like IP comparison and spam detection. My guess is that the more expensive ones have deeper functionality.

Like I said, I haven't done a gpt site myself. I have a couple of twists on the concept that I'm working on that will let me bypass the scripting altogether, so haven't really done much research other than basic comparison of the big boys for ideas.

Aur*ora and Shi*ftc*ode seem to be the two most common "big boys".

By freebie site you mean the usual sites giving away X amount of money for X referrals who complete an offer? or a Wii, PS3, etc?

Try the RBIS script , its referral based .. Search on BHW or IJ and you'll find it. It was sold as a WSO
