Inbound links withing my own website?

Sup folks,

SEO wise, Is there any advantage having inbound links from my own site?

EDIT:. Since these links are pointing to the same website they come from, can it be considered inbound?

You mean like inter-linking your own articles?

I will assume that is what you mean.

If you write an article about: widgets
You should link your article about red widgets to that.
Then you should link your article about organic red widgets to that article.

Doing that will help you SEO wise.

There are three types of links,

Outbound link – Links from your website to another website.
Inbound links – Links from another website to yours.
Internal links – Links from one page to another page on your own website.

Coming to the point,
I assume that you’re having two websites (A and B). In that case, if you’re getting links from your website A to another website B, then it is considered as the inbound links.

Generally, getting inbound links from quality, high authority sites is good for SEO. So, if your website A is high authority and quality site, then it’s good to get inbound links.

In another case, if you’re having only one website, then getting links from one page to another page on your website is called as the internal link.

Internal links are also important to your SEO strategy because it will help build up the authority pages on your website, which is important to rank you in SERPs.
 
Having a more inbound link from high authority sites on your website is an advantage of your SEO.

YES, one website link points to your website is considered to be an inbound link.
 
Yes interlinking is recommended but try not to use exact anchors everywhere.

When the website A uses your main domain and B is an addon domain, these rules apply differently?
 
You write an awesome new post, the post is shared, tweeted etc, you build backlinks to that post, without good internal linking, all the link juice is only going to that one specific page/post, with proper internal linking the link juice flows throughout your site.

It will be treated as inbound links. Addon domain will be treated as a new domain. So if you getting links from that means these links will be considered as inbound links.
 
Good internal linking is essential to ranking well. Your site structure plays a big role in how well your website performs.

one newbie questions here:

for interlink within my own websites, does it necessarily it is related?

for example

i am doing a amazon products refrigerator review, and within the same website i have another post related to some computer monitor

can say in the end of the refrigerator post

" Click here for some computer monitor review" ?

the problem i have is that i normally only have one post related to one product and dont have multiple same products post

thanks in advance for the advices.
 
I don't see a problem in doing that, just use common sense also for WordPress websites you can use the related posts plugin.
