inbound links vs outbound links ??

after last Google PR update my site's PR has dropped from PR3 to PR1. I didnt build new backlinks for few months. but I have lots of outbound links with do follow. but all of those links linked to authority sites... do I need to add no follow tag to my outbound links ?? what might be the reason for this PR drop ? really appreciate any suggestions..

would not worry about this... PR updates give often these effects. Please consider that the PR you can measure it is NOT the same used for ranking. For outbound links don't think too much about nofollow, and just leave really useful ones

In bound links:

Inbound links or commonly known as "backlinks" are the links pointing to your site and search engines like Google like it when you have thousands of links pointing to your site but sometimes Google penalizes you for it too if you have poor quality and irrelevant backlinks pointing to your site.

Out bound links:

These are the links pointing to other websites from your website and you have more control over these links. People have different views about outbound links and many say that it is against the SEO rules and search engines can penalize you for doing this.

Maybe u lost many of yours backlinks after penguin update and maybe that affect your PR...However like themayhem said, don`t worry about PR....

Do you think that a page will rank higher with relevant links to authority sites, opposed to not.

My advice to you is not make every outbound link as ******** make some nofollow also.
