    Hi,
I had a domain which i did not renew after a year in 2013. But on Google Analytics it started reporting 200 odd visits per month since FEB and peaking in June around 500.
    - Before I go and re-activate this domain, would this be real users coming from old links or these visits are crawlers..etc?

I checked ahrefs but no links are displayed.

    regards,
    Maple

It's hard to say - did the site have a lot of backlinks?

If the site is still up with content but hasn't been updated - I doubt it's being crawled that much.

    I could be wrong though.

you can try just googling your website and see what kind of traction it picked up in the meantime. See if any of them are backlinks and youre good to go.

    Did Google search...nothing
tried alexa - its got 2 links. One from EDU domain another from a forum with TF of 9.
it costs 99 cents to activate, i'll slap something on it and see what happens. I'm looking into PBNs recently and due to receive a couple of PBNs soon, maybe I can add to that.

Thanks all for the responses. Love BHW - always helpful people willing to share and advise.
