In UK, but ranking for USA

Hi,

Found a micro-niche I may make a domain on. However In UK it only has 16 Local Exact a month.. LOL. But in USA it has 6.6k A month Exact. i was wondering how a .co.uk domain ranks in USA.

There are currently .co , .co.uk , and also .cc and .biz

which would be best? Also how do I go about backlinking? Since im in UK is see many .co.uk backslinks only..

You wont have much luck with a .co.uk, I'd say just go with keywordinfo.com or keywordtips.com or something similar like that.

Ok, how about instead I get the .com but in the middle of my keyword (Because it's a 4 word one) I use a hyphen? (-)

Even you can try .info for that.And using hyphen will not be a problem.As you are going to place the keyword in your title too.
But those searches are not exact try in many softwares before thinking about that.

Domains are cheap just buy another and in google webmaster tools, in the geographic target section target users in "desired Country", it will help a lot.

Also of course get backlinks from sites ranking high in the UK
