Therefore would like to introduce myself.

Carl here

I've been mostly active in the adult online industry with an occassional departure to mainstream. Got my start as a go to guy with Big Sister Media back in 2005 where I created a concept, oversaw an overhaul of the Company's flagship paid membership based website and handled most of the partner relations.

Since 2010 have my own business registration, worked with several start ups, typically on a per project basis. Know the business from the affiliate program manager's as well as from the affiliate's POV. Have quite extensive experience in live cams, lately dealing with online dating and online advertising.

Found out I do have an account at BHW historically and thought it could be worth checking out what's going on around here (and if it could be interesting business wise). Always glad to upgrade myself about verticals I may have never been active in.

If you were ever interested in some stories from the pre-tube era of the adult adult industry, I may have a few to share as well.

Your memory is really good.

What happened to slypussy and shesexy.com . Worried about both sites. These were my school time fav sites

When I read this post this comes to my mind.

Not really familiar with the history behind shypussy or shesexy. Lot of owners just abandoned the sites after the tubes took off, at the Internext Vegas in 2009 the showfloor was still full with paysite programs and some TGP owners around, but it was like the last glimpse. Many just let their sites later run on auto pilot and die in time, some tried to sell, but there's very few TGP's left. They get generally like one 20th of the traffic they got back in the day while the conversion rates are 5 - 10 x worse (the tease and pay was to sell actual paysites through FHG's and banner ads etc.).

The typical story is that many that were liquid after leaving their free sites or a paysite sponsor program either bought into something safe like real estate, or invested into another business, where the success ratio was generally much lower and many ended up bankrupt within two to three years or so.

It's true that I just put the logo on etc. and try to brand it a little bit, but it's not a purchased account, I've registered this account back in 2010 when I built and used to run 66 free sites mostly due to SEO and link building, but never really did engage here. That plan ended with the first Panda update that killed 95 pct. of the traffic there. I remember that too it was around March 10th 2011 or so.

I don't even know this VIP system or what the rules are for links / signatures etc. But yes, the main motivation to come here is that I'm sort running out of resources that would have a suitable business presence, and where one could actually meet someone new to do business with. At the end of the day, I'm in it for money as well, but not really interested in spamming, or even recommending products or services that I couldn't, at least to some solid extent, vouch for.

Also have a history on GFY for example, where I even wrote some more extensive write up for the 10th anniversary online there. Can re-post it maybe sometime in the future.

You have not posted a single post in last 8 years and suddenly you wake up & decide to post here.
Not looks suspicious?
Should people trust on you, you are the guy who created this account?

I'm using the same nickname on GFY since 2005 if you'd want cross reference. Didn't have a great need to generate much new business for quite a bit, 2012 - 14 in mainstream, and the last project I was involved in for the last four years, all traffic was in house or media buys.

First time I wanted to reconnect with actual affiliates was about 2 years ago, helping out somebody with major history, but from my contact list that I kept active till 2012 cca there were maybe 80 pct. not even in the game anymore. Those were old school webmasters.

Now that I may eventually have something to offer - the landscape has changed and there's a lot of new guys around. So that's about it.

Living in Brno, the country's second biggest city, for the last four years. Just changed my avatar btw.
