Anyone seen this before? What does it mean? They are at the bottom of the search results for a KW I am looking at. I am researching KWs for a famous furniture store and the furniture stores name is in my domain, are these copyright complaints b/c of other people like me using the name in the domain?
Using pictures from their site?

What?

That means that Google has received complaint regarding sites who ranked for the keyword you searched for and therefore they have removed the sites from their search index. Does not mean anything else than that.

Would that lead you to believe its a KW you should avoid?

See Google's transparency report:
http://www.google.com/transparencyreport/removals/copyright/

They make statistics of those who ask them to remove search content.

So should I avoid this KW then???/

Anyone? avoid it? go for it?

Its not the keyword, its the content you're serving.

you are lucky they did not sue you for using their name in your domain, IMO you should avoid it or you have to be very careful.

i dont know much about the copyright stuff though
