In order to rank for the same keyword in another language

if I put the same article with base keyword
"Best coffee machine" in English
Then have the same article translated in Spanish in my website
Say in es.mywebsite.com
Or in.mywebsite.com/fr.mywebsite.com

Will I be able to rank for the same keyword in another language? What do I have to do to expand myself to the same keyword but in other countries
I want to appeal them in their mother tongue.
