In need of some wordpress help!

So the other day I was messing around with my wordpress blog and somehow now have


403 Forbidden

nginx

Error on the top of my web page and I can not figure out how to remove it! I know it has nothing to do with my theme as I even changed themes to test this theory. I also emailed my webhost but as always they are pretty much useless. Any help would be much appreciated.​

Hey,
Have you by any chance altered the .htaccess file. If you have done something to it, you could get that 403 forbidden error. Cross check with the worpress original one and see if it ok.

You should give us for information about the issue otherwise it's too broad to answer. What were that you messing with?
This cause mostly because of files or directories permission.
 
Unfortunatly all I was doing was installing plugins I believe when this problem happened as I am not good at coding so I stay away from all of that. Could a plugin be causing this issue?
 
I installed a plugin a while back on one of my sites and it messed up my whole wordpress site. (the site would not load). I fixed the problem by deleting the plugin from my file manager. i would say uninstall each plugin (starting with the most recent). and trouble shoot. if you cannot access the dashboard go inside your file manager and delete the plugin from the plugins folder. (cant remember the directory)
 
Ask your host to check the DNS/IP-entry among other things that could cause the error. Ask them first to see if something's wrong. Give them the error message details and I think your problem will be solved. Use the Live Chat... that way your problem will get an instant attention imo.
 
Uninstall all your plugins and test if it works. If it doesn't work without any plugins restore the original .htaccess file. If it does work then install your plugins back one by one to see which one is causing problems. It might be that some plugin is modifying your .htaccess file.
 
Well I unistalled all my plugins and reinstalled them so I decided to go do a live chat and they couldn't figure it out so they have a specialist looking at it now... We will see what happens. In the mean time they messed up my whole wordpress theme and everything looks like crap on my page... frustrating hope they fix this.
 
Backup your database, try a fresh install on another directory/domain. Set your theme, activate your plugins one by one to test which one(s) might be causing it, and you can do the same for the theme, just in case it's also causing a conflict.
 
They must be outsourcing servicing to DP 'specialists' :D
