You are right, Texacola.

I've also studied the few but very noisy complaints about Servage posted 2 years ago on some forums. In fact problems were where someone used scripts that overloaded the processors, thus disrupting the service given to others.

When you are going to get 2,000,000 visitors a day, or if you are willing to offer chat for thousands of users, or make file sharing site (rapidshare clone) or a video sharing site (YouTube clone), then don't fry the processors of a shared hosting, but use dedicated hosting.

Servage is great for what a shared host can do for you. I never had any unresolved issue and support is always friendly and fast. I like them.

You never can expect any hidden charges and fees, and for custom needs you can get custom solution (and a custom quote).

Good new is, recently Servage made a major update and increased the bandwidth quota per subscription to 5000 GB/month and the storage space to 500 GB.

netfirms is cheap, the "max" promo still going until end of this month. you pay only $10 for the first year and $120 for the subsequent years. but it didn't support cpanel and webstats. it comes with 2 free domain too.

besides hostgator, you can try westhost.com. they offer VPS with free dedicated and shared IP. the great thing about VPS, once you create new site, you get different IP. not like reseller pack.

what you need to consider is of course, support. I prefer comp which have 24/7 live support. email support is crap.

Servage is hosted in Germany (it allows adult content as well), and it has very low prices. See within the thread a coupon code to get some extra space (coupon code= neverpayagain).

That's why I recommend you this host. You can pay once and then just bring one referral within each 2 months and you shall never pay again for hosting.

I use NatNet.com they are pretty expensive but the support is superb. Really depends on what you plan on doing with it. If you need a ton of shit installed its worth it cause they do it for you.

Texacola, I remember you from another "Cloaking" forum. You were once with CloakHosting if I remember correctly. May I ask why you didn't go with Jonathan's new company ServerBalance? I am also looking for a new host and was considering going with him. Let me know.

Adelais.net worked with em for a long time and know the owner. SO if u need anything, just ask.

I am trying to figure out if ServerBalance has the same features as CloakHosting, such as the Link Exchange network. Sent a email to Jonathan but have not heard back, which is odd because he usually responds within a few hours.
