Hey guys. I have used up all my disc space on my host. and want to continue building adsense sites. Any recomendation on a hosting company or special offers any one know about? Looking for a shared hosting plan.
I have always read to never use free host for websites. But I found a directory of free host many with no ads, popups or frames. With decent storage allowances. Anyone have experience with a free host? It is for adsense sites put together from software.
Hi Justmeron, If you can afford less than $10 per month for 350GB space and 3500GB monthly traffic, go to Servage.net. To get extra 35GB for free just use the following coupon: neverpayagain I am using this host for over one year, and I can say I never had a better host. If you need free host with limited traffic, then get service in an instant from interestingfiles.com .
Just as important as disk space is server resources, more important to run SSI and DBs. Sites offering such deals kind of scare me. Questions like, "How much have they adjusted their configs to show the dsik space?" How many people are they cramming on to a disk? How are they doing their DBs, disk space wise? I've used hosts like that and had nothing but problems. It isn't worth get a magical 350GB of space if you only get a tiny bit of the server's resources. Stuff 300 accounts on to even a dual processor and you still only get 0.67% of a single processor, 8GB of RAM doesn't go far, then you have to consider your connection. These are the numbers you really have to know, no one is going to use your site(s) if they are snail slow.
It's not worthy of a long time stay, as it has its downsides, but x10hosting.com is great if your in search of something within a good price range. (Its FREE.) As I said, it has its cons, but overall, its definately worth the price. As the famous saying goes, "All the best things in life are free." Or, at least it's something like that.....
just type in XXXXX.page.tl (XXXXX-meaning anything) and you will be redirected to the most awesome easy to use service....the only thing is that it memorizes you ip....But you can over come this by signing up with a proxy service.....I use switchproxy.com .......a free online proxy search engine
What are your plans for the hosting? If you are not using it for "the dark side", I have had good luck with HostGator.
Awesome, I was just now looking for a free hosting service to help me get started. Thanks a million. N
Here is the cheapest hosting you can get. I got it about two years ago but it looks like the deal is still alive. Code: http://netfirms.com/max Code: # $10 for one full year of Netfirms Advantage Hosting! # 2 FREE domain names # 250GB of disk space # 2,000GB data transfer per month I forgot all about this deal. I think I might have to sign up again. I wonder if they'll say anything if I use the same name.
You are kidding. Have you seen host without cpanel? Servage developed his own proprietary cpanel. It is very comprehensive and easy-to-use, with many features. See details with screenshots here: Code: http://www.servage.net/page/control-panel/
One other thing I have discoverd is many times a host will offer a great introductory offer for a yr. then hit you on the back end. After that yr. you would pay up or be forced to move your site.
Yep, it happened to me too that I've purchased good priced service from some popular host, then I had to find later, how many additional fees I'll have to pay to get some important features, as an additional MySQL server, or more FTP accounts. With Servage I never had such problems, and I use them for more than one year. Actually you can earn 2 months of free hosting fro each new referred customer, thus the coupon I've posted really means what it says: neverpayagain This kind of advertising should be very good, hence I've seen the number of Servage sites doubled within one year.
any of these work well with the dark side? im currently with dreamhost and cant seem to get yacg working properly.
