In need of help

I am looking to invest into crypto-currencies with a smaller amount of money as this will be my first time going into something like this. I know how it all works in terms of the basics but nothing major so to those who are going to give me advice please be very explicit.

I am willing to invest into several crypto-currencies including the majors such as BTC and ETH.

Here are a few of my queries:
How do I manage several currencies at one time? (E.g a specific wallet)
What's the cheapest method/site of obtaining a specific currency?
What's the best method/site for selling a specific currency?
How do I decide which currency to hold onto for a long-term investment and how do I decide what to buy and sell for short-term?
What sites are best for short term selling?

If anyone could help me get started it would be HUGELY appreciated!

Just be very careful here, as you're going to get flooded with offers to go onto Skype etc.

This is an unregulated financial market and there's potential to lose your money just by getting scammed.

I cringe at posts like this, just keep your wits about you.

I understand, I'm not asking for ones direct help into the market, I'm asking more so for advice to begin working in the market as how don't know much about the best way of doing things.

1. I use one wallet for each coin. I never keep my coins in the exchange after purshase. I like Electrum wallets.
2. Don't know, I use Kraken and poloniex.
3. Same as above.
4. Wish I could see into the future but I can't (and noone can) so invest in coins you belive in.
5. Don't know, I use Kraken and poloniex.
