I have been trying to fill some sites with content but was struggling a little till i found this! :)

articlebase.com

you can follow the guidelines and use the articles as is, or you can use them to inspire your own ahem "original" content... i guess there is no reason you couldnt convert them to ebooks! :)

plenty of subjects, plenty of articles, and its free! :)

This is a cool share.. I usually just go onto ezinearticles.com and simply pick an article, re-write it and blamo I have some content. Takes about 5 minutes, you could do it with this site too.
 
Just 'borrowed' my first few articles, now to amend them.
