Ok, I'm very new to the IM world I have been lurking around on this site for a couple of months, gathering information and reading all sorts of things. I know directly asking for information may be looked down on, but I need a plan of action! I've read and searched and downloaded numerous things to get started I just don't have an actual grasp of where to start at.

I already have a site and web hosting I just want to make sure I make the proper steps for monetizing it right now its a blank WP. I don't have much money to invest, so with the limited amount of funds I have (maybe just $100) what steps could I take to start generating some sort of income. Should I invest the $100 into tools and if so what would you recommended in the beginning to get things rolling.

I'm not asking to be spoonfed just lead in the right direction

Thanks for any help that is offered!

    1. Pick one of the money making method from sticky threads in this section
    2. Do not try to invest money unless you feel you are going in right direction
    3. If you reach the proof-of-concept stage, then scale it up (with or without) investing money

For instance "Easy $100 A Day - Perfect For Noobs" seems the one method you can start and getting results from today

If you are not sure at all what is your niche start with thread "The Niche Guide - Intro & Part 1 (Finding A Niche)"

And most important tip, try to come up with question that is intelligent and align with the average IQ level of members.

Ok thanks fellow but this is not the information I asked for if you read my post which was easy enough for anyone to understand then you would know that I've already went over the multiple resources available on the site, I need to know what tools I should get in order to make the next step, but I appreciate your help, what great insight you offered. Got to love the smart guys around here! :)

There are loads of methods on this site, but a tip from myself in a similar situation. You need to understand IM to be able to get decent results, so don't try and run before you can walk, otherwise you'll jump between methods faster than you can read them, have no results and give up.

Pick yourself a niche, even a micro-niche that you have some interest in. Make a website, and get some posts up on it. Top 5 XXXX in Brooklyn, Top 5 XXXX 2015, Best XXXX for women for example. Optimise this site the best you can for keywords, and then rank it.

It's not your final stop, so if you screw up its not the end of the world . By the time you've got the hang of it, you'll be ready to take most methods here, and spin it using the skills you've learnt, be that ClickBank, Amazon Affiliates, eCommerce etc

That was pretty good advice up there that you shut down. As far as tools for $100 - not sure what you'll find out there on that budget. If you had read the first thread he suggested to you you'd have known you don't need tools to accomplish that. And it works.

You'd be better off investing that money into content and promoting by hand to start. If you can make enough to increase your budget you can worry about tools.

As far as the next step - pick something and do it.

Your question really was a bit misleading too. The title says you need a gameplan, the question says you have no grasp of where to start and your first response says you were just asking about tools? Gotta love them smart guys!

    Thanks mate.

Yeah, I've read your post that is why I recommended do not purchase anything (like tools) in the very start of applying particular method. Wait and watch, if its proven only then invest your money and more time & energy.

Unless you wanted to do something like Instagram Follower maker, for such methods you will definitely need particular tool, but if I were you, I would rather first do everything manually and then research for tools that fit my needs.

    Best of luck!

Pick a method and figure out your own game plan. When you run into trouble or have specific questions, come back and ask them. Everyone here is trying to figure it out for themselves. In my opinion you are being very selfish by asking the way you did and also for shooting down very good advice. If you don't know what you're doing, that method is a great start

I wasn't trying to shut anybody down at all but I've read all the guides and all of the pinned post, I found the niche I can cover and I'm in the process of writing an ebook for it right now that I also plan to put on kindle to monetize it even further. The thing I'm trying to understand is driving the traffic in and increasing my rank for my website I know this usually takes time but I want to get the ball rolling and get started the right way.

I apologize I'm not trying to offend anybody or anything like that or coming selfishly I didn't explain myself good enough, from everything I've read and studied I'm trying to combine it into one effective plan for the niche I've chosen. Which is why I'm trying to figure out the best way to drive the traffic in and get the numbers rolling.

Ok, now you're getting more specific. Traffic and SEO. That's still very vague but at least you're narrowing it down. Still not enough to give advice on tools. I hope you understand why it's not good for anyone coming in and saying "I have a domain and hosting, now what?". There are infinite paths someone can take. If you need help the members will help. The game plan is yours to decide, others can help fill in the missing pieces. Being so vague hurts you as well because even if someone wanted to help they have no idea what you're doing. Answers and advice will be different depending on a number of things

An answer to match your question: Use social media

EDIT (because the good guy in me says I should be helpful since I'm already here): I still recommend you check out the Meathead1234 thread http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/making-money/359445-easy-100-day-perfect-noobs.html

The guy who's basically been running the thread lately (freddyjames I believe his name is) is a clickbank vendor with his own product and uses that method. It helps with both traffic and long term SEO. Based on the info you gave it really looks like it includes everything you need
