In need of a bot or scipt of some sort

Need someone who really knows what there doing to help me out here. I have a script made that changes mac and resets my modem to give me a new address when i need it but on occasion it will freeze up and the internet connection will not come back on until the modem is reset again. Is there anyone who possibly could help out to make something so when this happen the modem will reset automatically without me having to do it manually.
