    Hello guys,

I want to ask a question,

if some keywords like " t-shirt design ", it originally contain a "-" in the keyword,

then consider of the "t-shirtdesign.com" and "tshirtdesign.com"

    which is the EDM?

but the keywords" t-shirt design" and "t shirt design" have a same searches in Google keywords Tools, and do it mean that they are the same keywords?

When you search for "t shirt" in google, all results will be with a "-" so i think it's better to make "t-shirt", or what you can do is buy both,
make 2 tier backlinks on the one and redirect it to the oter:)

But the domain that don't contain "-" has been taken, so I will try the "-" and test that if it is a EDM.

one more question, I register both "t-shirt XXX" and "t-shirts XXX".

The searches of "t-shirt XXX" are about 2 times of "t-shirts XXX"

Should I build them with 2 different keywords in 2 different sites, or 2 keywords in one sites? I have the EMD of both 2 keywords.

It seems that you are very sure. But I have bought the "-"(tshirt has been taken) and I will test it out.

The EMD of a keyword is always better, I woul suggest you to make 1 keyword 1 site. That's how I do and worked until now as I have the exact titel and EMD and good description

t-shirt.com is not an emd but it's fine too. But, avoid having more than two '-' in the domain.

Keyword-keyword.com is not an EMD. In the OP's case, I would still prefer the domain without the dash, tshirt.com.

    Thanks for all your replies.

But I still think that ?-? is the EMD.

Because the ?-? is common used when we talk about ?t-shirt? and the ?-? is exactly a part of the keyword.

This doesn't really answer your question, but when you search Google and it highlights the keywords, they are: t-shirt, tshirt, teeshirt, t-shirts, and tshirts (that I've seen so far). Also, t-shirt is more commonly searched than tshirt. So, in my totally non-expert opinion, it might not be an EMD, but it seems like Google recognises it fine (and people search for it). As you mention, t-shirt is the common spelling, so it's what people will mostly type in. Good luck, mate.

    EMD is: longtailkeyword.com
    Not EMD: long-tail-keyword.com

However: long-tail-keyword is good for SEO
