...thank you for your insights on how you are running your buisness -and congrats on closing a decent deal.

i totally like your approach on this and agree that focussing on mobile-ways is the way to go. people love stuff like that and do post a lot right on the spot. taking time to visit a website and writing a review later when you are back home isn`t everyone`s thing - even i you loved the place.

i do see so much on FB like people posting pics of their t-bone steak and commenting on it...
...in times like these where more and more people are online using their mobile your approach just fits in pretty nice. you do use the given - and it helps spreading the word a lot which will pay off for your customer.

the vip-move - giving away discounts etc. - is one thing i really do like on this...as seeing it from a customers view.
if i regularly visit a restaurant i like - i would love that. and promote to my friends. great one.

I have a question about manually submitting reviews.. doesn't that still have a chance of you getting into trouble with the GMen, even if you outsource the work to fiverr?

Even if you provide them with the text message logs (how?), how do you prove to them that you didn't just make it up? :o
 
As i wrote in the other thread, if you try the mobile optimized landing page you should also provide QR tag on sticker to put in store window or also on the card with revirw url. QR tags become more used. Phone7 has support by default, probably iphone and andriod soon aswell. I included QR tags on the biz cards that i ordered for a store.

Removing the most negative PR against the business, whether that be negative articles, reviews, videos, etc.

I believe that's what it means, maybe I'm wrong through.
 
Removing by simply displacing with positive PR or is it something more drastic to literally get it removed?

All reviews are logged automatically with a time code. We then upload these reviews ourself using a network of people. We add reviews from the same IP and we don't upload them all at one time. We "drip feed" the reviews so they are posted at intervals and looks natural to Google.

Each review has a times tamp with the reviewers name, date, time & IP address.

Just a quick question, when Im using the QR code with iphone, it brings me to the mobile version of google places, but the problem is that I cant select or review the business, I have to use google places app to do so, in this case the QR code is useless? isnt it
 
Thanks for sharing MarketStud!!! I'm just trying to get through tax season (Still not done with mine) and then i'm hitting it hard. I ended up buying 2 WSo's only for the fact that it allows the client to automatically inport reviews from the different review sites and the display then via either a WP plug in or a java script.(I think)

Have you tried using local business listing robot to add reviews to the different review sites? I'm really close to picking it up, i was waiting to land my 1st couple of clients and see if someone has a review about it.

Im not sure what your talking about. We do not use any QR codes for our SMS Review system. Customers have the option to either text their review of the business or use a special URL that takes them to a web page where they fill out a in-line review form.

We are not currently using Local Business Listing Robot but we too are considering adding this $97/mo service to our campaigns. Let me know if you get it and how you like it.

Just have to say props man. It's always awesome to finally see results from hard work. Sales cycle and building a pipeline can be a little scary when your bills depend on it, but it looks like you're making it work. Also props for getting off your butt and doing it... that's the diff between people that talk and the people that bank.

Can you please tell me what plugin is that? Seems very interest, would like to take a look into this myself. Thanks in advance.
 
UPDATE: We have been noticing that more and more of the FedEx envelops we are sending out are being sent back to us by the USPO. The FedEx envelopes cost about $1.50 each for postage so it hurts when half of them come back. We have been trying diffent post offices around town and marking the envelopes so we know which post office they get returned from.

No matter where we send from it seems like half of them are coming back. It really depends on the mood of the postal workers. So we have been forced to start sending some of our packets in normal brown envelopes. We even deliver some of our packages ourselves if it within the city limits. We use a 250cc scooter that will do 80mph on the freeway and get around traffic in the city. We have even joked about getting a FedEx uniform and making the deliveries!

Using a FedEx envelope is still the preferred method but not always possible. The FedEx envelope has IMPORTANT written all over it. I have even started using them at my client meetings. Instead of carrying my paperwork in a colored folder I carry them in a new FedEx envelope. When the client asks to see the details I reach in THEIR FedEx envelope and get down to business.

Well the envelope thing sucks because I was just ramping up to do this. I have never looked until a few mins ago at USPS envelopes but their Priority system is 5.20 per..... Well over the 1.50. So is brown bagging really the next option? I am going to run by the local office supply store and check out some ideas on envelopes and things to make them pop. FedEx is the best but need to come up with something more stable.

This may sound stupid but what about a fedEx Envelope inside a brown envelope? Maybe some write on front of brown one such as "protective packaging" blah blah.... I think FedEx hold such a strong brand that they may just forget about the brown once they see the FedEx label. Just a thought and would love to hear other FedEx trickeries.
