Is it just me or is every second person that adds you an IM?

God, it's annoying.

You do a search to try to locate real people to follow and hell 70% of them are businesses or internet marketers.

you just looking at the wrong person to follow on his/her followers. Twitter is a social site so try following people who are following famous people. Its not very targeted but the only once who do targeted follow are IM's
