Sudden high number of inbound links to a website with no traffic low ctr = unnatural?
High ctr and website traffic with no inbound links = unnatural?

I would try this strategy combined with link building at the same time.

Yes, it do help to improve your SERP with fake traffic.However, it can also damage your site serp in the future. (E.g high bounce rate).
No, because those professional webmasters tested it and proven it doesn't really help significantly on bigger site.

Conclusion is it doesn't help for long run and it can also kill your site :|

E.g
0 1 0 1 1 1 -> traffic bot -> 20k 20k 20k -> traffic bot removed -> 15 25 10 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 1 0

Crazy method not even worth talking about. I have seen one of Googles databses.

Your domain is on a database table. This I can tell you is totally the truth!!! Now if you have any programming knowledge or even database knowledge, ponder and think about that. Each domain has its own database table very similar to PHP My Admin.

It is very common, most people who know nothing about SEO think rankings position are influenced by number of clicks.

Educate yourself!!! The guys at Google may overlook, be laid back a bit but those guys are all pretty dam smart!
 
SEODEMON: I completely agree with you but do not underestimate the power of the mass. The sum of brains of a couple of members will equate and supersede their intelligence. At least for a while :)
 
It is logical but they really would not allow this type of manipulation. It would be pretty easy for any midlevel programmer to mimic human traffic without detection and making it look natural by using natural location patterns.

I just know I have tried this using many different methods. This has been attempted by tons and tons using many different forms. This is one of the first SEO manipulation methods, it has been done for many years.

I swear that I started seeing forum posts about this like 8 years ago. There maybe a small chance from certain referrers but from the Google search engine itself no way.

It's because the kids from blackhat.community are saying it's the best thing since sliced bread and they're pushing their theories with no testing what so ever. If they do have "proof" I bet the results are based on what they found during the time of November 25 to December 8. Pfffft, kids.
 
I think Google can detect fake traffic/proxyes. Maybe with a botnet....
