Improving SERP by faking traffic from Google

IM is all about testing and testing. If anyone wants to try something he is free to do so. I can see that he wanted some suggestions.

1) If you can make the bot with other browser with alexa toolbar. (IE Doesn't help)
2) Do track results with and without analytics being installed.
3) A lot of browser agents.
4) Exchange system ( Might help to get several ips with free users, "fatboy" had it )
5) Long phrase keywords to be used automatically. ( Will look natural)

You can try yourself and get to know. Because from all the threads I've seen, nobody is sure whether it works or not. At least you'll be sure if it works. :)

Thanks for the feedback I checked diaboliclabs and got even more ideas. My main concern that this is using your network connection rather than just a service where you can subscribe and let the service do everything for you 24 7.

Any browser / Alexia ranking can be faked. using the right agent strings
 
I dont know about others but i have tested this method with low comp and mid comp keywords for 1 month and didnt get any results, a complete 0. So it didnt works for me.
 
May be possible but you will have to ensure you neither repeat the exact procedure too often nor you do everything with just a handful of ips.

The problem is not that the method is not working, the problem is how all the bots are trying to do it.

I am almost 100% confident that Google uses such information to improve their SERP. Hence the reason why they developed GA. It is a vital tool for them.

Controlling which IPs visit your website must be controlled using this tool.

I too agree that it may play at least a small part BUT none of the current bots work, as they do not emulate the behaviour of a real user, so it is easy for Google to ignore and discount those visits (at best) or penalise sites (at worst). Every bot I have tried caused a drop in rankings. I wish you well but it is going to require a shit load of testing.
 
Tons of different software has been built threw the years to do this. Easiest way is to use Curl.

I think everyone has tried this. IT DOES NOT WORK!!!!
 
Why is it that an ancient technique like this all the sudden pops up everywhere.
Seriously during the last month I've seen 5+ threads discussing this technique.

In the field of SEO, proving stuff is next to impossible, and really, would you believe a random forum user if he said it worked?
Try it out for yourself if you wanna know for sure.
 
Unless any of you have done two years of experiments on this topic, with every possible combination of choices, and paying attention to every small detail you can imagine, then no one has a right to declare that it doesn't work. That's all I'm saying on the subject.

Yes obviously, but it is something you missed from the OP.

I used micro workers to inflate click through rates when on page on #7 and I got to #3 within 2 weeks, but then again there was other SEO involved.

There is definitely juggling of positions though, I've seen it many times, and I do believe this is a way of testing if a site deserves to be higher in the pecking order or not, more of a page 1 juggling factor than a true ranking factor.
 
Great idea man! Its difficult to increase your serp rankings bassed on a couple of proxies and bots. Itll hurt you in the long run. Serp is a very complicated system on google.

Actually using micro workers is a good idea, as they are real users and I presume not using proxies.

You got it. The bigger your budget the bigger the effect.

Also great for reverse engineering other peoples tactics ;)
 
I used such tool long time ago.
- it loads proxy
- uses different browser user agents
- enter keyword and your website name, it searches in google and if website is found clicks on it.

after running it for 2 hours, my site ranked on first page in a day. But then its nowhere to be found for a day or two and again settled the same old ranking.

edit : I forgot to mention, the keyword had low competition.

Come on guys, Google engineers aren't stupid. I bet they've already read this thread and taking action against such foolish and amateur attempts. It's a waste of time in my opinion.
 
Google employees are some of the brightest people on earth. But hanging on BHW every thread..common' now. Put the tinfoil hat away.
