I'm a bit confused, are people putting in their site and just letting it run?

If you have adsense on it, aren't you afraid of potential click-bombing or just getting banned for a random reason?

Instead, I put up my site's facebook page. Am wondering if putting my actual site is at risk if adsense is my main money maker?

That's my concern, too. But it's nice to see an increase of PVs and tweets for free. Will see if it converts well and consider buying more tokens.

Just a small tip for people that get traffic to their website. It's easy to max your linkcollider credits (capped at about 40,000) by including the following script in your site's body:

Thanks for the link, I already have like 20+ page views so far, but when going to the blogging site, it's not as much as the assumed view count.

It may take over 3 months for search engines to detect your new backlinks and views. be cool and wait.
