I am using bing ads to promote CPA offers. Since last two days my Add nearly got 200 impressions but just 2 clicks. Can someone guide why so? I am following all recommendations given by bing, still no success. Pls guide.

You probably need to work on the kw targetting and your ad copy. It takes a lot of AB testing to get ad CTR right.

Bing is Profitable but not more than Google ads. There are some smart tips that perform during the running campaigns at Google ads and Bing.

Your
1st Mistake Your run campaign at wrong time at wrong day.

Yes everything is wrong.

Time must be USA working. When you will run campaign next time.
Dont run campaign at weekend days.

Before run ads in Bing must check Google trends. If Google trend graph is Good so 50% traffic will be reflect to bing ads and this is Good offer and keywords that You have choosen.

Good Luck with this Tip.
Thanks :)

Care to share your Ad or you can P.M. the copy

You get clicks when you have an ad that triggers a response, shows the searcher you have (or promise to have) exactly what they want and need. If your ad just says "yeah, we have that, buy it from us", that's not going to get many clicks.

There are other factors too which you may not be doing correctly. Proper keywords is one. Are you showing on the display network as well as search? You should never mix the two and in fact, maybe that's why: you are showing mostly on display where click rates are much lower typically than search or showing mostly on the partner sites.

Average position also affects your click rate, the lower the ad appears, the lower the CTR. This is just like the organic rankings and why everyone wants to be at the top. Your 1% CTR may be just what to expect if your position is lower on the page. But don't go on CTR, look at your Quality Score. It's a measure of how well you are doing against competitors (on search only), no matter your position. If it's average, you need to write more compelling ads.

And take a closer look at your keywords while you're at it. I've seen too many people with the wrong idea about keywords. Describe exactly what the product is. If you sell controllers for PS4, don't bid on the keyword PS4 or simply game controller, that's not your product. Then write ads that make them want to click and buy (example: nobody will beat you using this PS4 game controller). Better than, yeah we sell that come and buy it.

Depends on your ads if you are not click even after getting decent number of impressions. Also if your ad is not on top chances of getting clicks are even lesser even if you are on 2nd or 3rd position. As someone mentioned above work on your ad copy.

Probably because your ad rank low and people click the ads that ranks higher. That's why you got impressions but no clicks.

Check your quality score on keywords. Check the CTR on ads. Is everything measuring out to be relevant? If not re-write ad copy and pause irrelevant keywords with low quality scores and add more relevant terms. Those both ok? High CTR and great quality score but still low clicks? What’s your search impression share? Is it high? If it is, you may just need to add in more terms as there’s not enough volume for a lot of clicks with the keywords you’re bidding on. Is it low? You may need to increase your daily budget or bids. To check if it is driven by budget or rank, these are found under competitive metrics (search impression share lost due to budget and search impression share lost due to rank) you can add both as a column in Google/Bing Ads. Very helpful columns that I use all of the time.

OP 200 impressions and 2 Clicks gets u a CTR of 1% which is not the best but also not that bad. Try to get your CTR to >2%.

CTR without context is meaningless. A 1% CTR may be good in some cases and bad in others. We don't know his average position, if he is talking strictly a search campaign or if he is mixing a display campaign in there or if he's targeting partners as well. This is what I said earlier, not to mention that a couple of clicks mean nothing, even calculating a CTR. He could very well have none in the next 200 impressions.

Quality Score on the other hand was invented to tell you how you are doing and takes into account context. The system however may not have enough clicks right now so it may not be an accurate gauge until it has more information.
