it always ask me to continue on mobile app
what is the reason?

to simply increase the mobile downloads and forcing user to buy X subscriptions they had to disabled the signup from pc

Many apps want you to use mobile for account setup. It helps them verify identity and prevent spam or fake accounts. So the PC version just directs you to the mobile app.

but as far we are concern about X they are using market tactics to gain subscriptions and mobile user downlords

i don't understand why every social media company assumes everyone has a smartphone to complete their dumb "verification" process
what if i want to use an old nokia phone?
what if i don't want a phone at all?

i see this type of behavior is becoming the norm for gmail, x, insta etc

I think Creating X accounts on PC does not really work anymore mobile is required.
Yes you can only create X accounts from mobile only.

They do it to prevent massive inflows of accounts from PCs.

Could be a security/trust thing tbh. X sometimes pushes people to continue in the mobile app for verification, especially on newer accounts or unusual logins. Are you getting this on one account only or all of them?

You can still create an X account on a PC. If the registration process is not working, try clearing your browser cache, using a different browser, or checking whether you are receiving the verification code.

Since you seem to have this same issue with every account you want to make, I guess buying a cheap android is starting to make more sense here. I do agree that it is very dumb and annoying behaviour from the social media companies to force it

I've noticed that account creation on a lot of platforms seems stricter than it used to be Sometimes the issue isn't the PC itself but additional verification checks browser settings or temporary restrictions during signup It would be helpful to know what error you're seeing because different people seem to run into different problems during the registration process

it's for spam control reasons, they want to verify you are human using a phone number or whatsapp message. all social media now requires 2FA, which means a phone
