Impossible to create pins that link to a board?

Hi all,

So, I created this board with product pins inside, and I'd like to post pins in group boards that link back to that board I created, not to content outside Pinterest. However when I try to create the pin I get an error message saying:
"!To save an idea you find on Pinterest, use the Save button you find on each Pin".

Why could a pin only link to content outside Pinterest, instead of a board?
Do you guys understand my problem?
Any way to go around this?

So what happens when you search for your keyword, see a pin you like, and then save it to the board? Does that work for you?

I'm trying to create pins, I upload the image, and for the link I want to put a link to a Pinterest board of mine. But Pinterest won't let me do that.

Maybe the board is full? Maybe not related to the pin? There are many elements that would make this difficult.

Or you can create a domain, or a free subdomain from weebly then redirect that domain to the link of the board. Tuen save the domain to the pins you want to upload

Usually, a blogger for example would write a piece and create for example 10 pins that link back to that article on his site.
In my case there is no content off site. I want to link back to a board on Pinterest, and apparently that's impossible?

@ziko12345 Yes but I don't want to do that because my content is just pictures of products.

It seems silly. It's like I'm going to have to create a tumbler just to post these images, and link to that, instead of using directly Pinterest which is much better for images...

Yeah it does seem strange, have you tested a different image on a different board?

What's really weird is that I can't find any mention of this anywhere. It's like I'm the first guy to ever try to do that....

I was told on Reddit that it is indeed impossible to link back to Pinterest... which seems really crazy to me
OK so now I have to figure out what other app I want to use to post these images and link to that in my pins...
