Importing wholesale from china?

I'm pretty sure everyone here imports from China. My question is, when importing huge quantities how do you do it safely? I'm sure most of us here don't have real invoices and pay import tax on the stuff we get. Do you guys get it shipped to another location or just get it sent to your house?

You are making two incorrect assumptions.

Very few people work in imports, and most of the people do have no choice but to pay taxes on them.

When you say "huge" are you talking about a number of inventory? I could probably fit about 3000 iPhone chargers in a box and have it shipped over to my house in the U.S. and probably avoid import fees, but if you are importing a "huge" shipping container of inventory to a place of business - then chances are that you are paying all associated fees.
