IMPORTANT THREAD: Leaving India, where to go? CONTINUED!

OK, so I was looking at my options for UK. If I study MBA in UK I can apply for graduate entrepreneur permit at course end if I have GBP 50,000. But I will have to create 2 full time jobs for UK citizens (!!). On top of that, the college has to endorse my entrepreneur application, then only I can get the permit.

So, the real cost now turns out to be MBA + GBP 50,000 + 2 full time job salaries. Expensive :(

Even with $5.000 a month you can live everywhere in the world and I would really recommend you to stay in India and just relocate to another city. You can live there like a boss.
But if you really want to relocate to another country, then in my opinion:

- US (I think for getting citizenship you can get an entrepreneur VISA - somewhere I've read you need to start your business within some time period and being in profit -> what kind of business? Who cares :) )
- Europe -> UK (I think the same rule as for US for non EU citizens. In Europe, I would really think only about UK, mainly because of racism problems)
- Canada

Good luck! And let us now which variant did you choose.

EDIT: if you really want to go out of India and don't want to read the posts about staying at India, you will do much better if you set up here a survey with your desired countries....

Blackh@tworld, which Indian city do you live in that you are this upset with it?
Anyway, here goes.
1 Thailand. Can stay three months at a time, no questions asked. Cross border every three months and reenter Thailand. U can stay on like that indefinitely. Can marry local---many willing---and can become citizen. Decent country, 4mbps and more connection. You can remain an Indian citizen, file taxes in India and live in Thailand. Technically, you cannot show earnings in Thailand---foreign nationals cannot work in Thailand without work permit.
2. Canada---still open to immigration. Take a course---eg flying (unless you are the academic type). Live and learn in Canada, pay taxes in India and become a citizen at the end of about 4 years---you also know by then whether you wish to migrate from India or not. With Canadian (or Australian citizen ship) you can live and work in the US without problems
3. Australia, New Zealand and US are options, but entry will have to be as a student. Also, these countries have separated migration from academics---so studying there does not mean you will get a job there.
4. Look at the possibility of first migrating to countries which do not have visa requirements
5. Have you looked at the lottery system. Many Indians migrated to Canada, US and Australia using this route.
6. Have you considered taking teaching (school) qualifications. Teachers, nurses, doctors etc are invited by the US, and possibly Canada and Australia.
7. Incidentally, does your city offer Spectranet? It is offering minimum 8mbps speed minimum and upto 16 mbps speed. You could always take an office in an area where Spectranet is available---you could check out a dongle service too---and maybe some of your problems are solved.
Honestly, people in the Third World want to migrate to the developed nations and these countries need only people with skills they lack---eg school teachers in the US. By the way, US is one of the least racial destinations---at least people try hard to be politically correct and try not to have racial feelings. EU, in my opinion is the worst. From this point of view, nothing like apna ghar.

i think you should go to canada it is too better than uk [ it is a big country and everthing is cheaper than uk ]

use a study permit but if your age is more then you will have to give 45 lakh rupee to Canadian govt for a pr

i have too much experience with travel agents , pm me i will help you

only thing you need is more than 50 lakh rupee in pocket [ you will have to save money for 1 year ]
500 X 30 = 15000
in canada you will have to live for 5 years to get pr [ or pay 45 L to govt and get pr in 1 month ]
and if you not liked canada than you can have just migrate to us for free

[ i not want to heart any one but there are many poor people in uk and there is my relatives tell that they are given free facilities by govt and population is too much ]
[ my family members of canada told is too better than uk ]

it is the word of mouth but i feel sorry if i heart you

I am Canadian. A retired Parole Officer with a Masters degree. I was able to get jobs at the universities I attended working for professors. You have money and will not need to do that. If you go to Canada I suggest you take a train across Canada. I would travel from Toronto to Vancouver. And take a high speed ferry to Victoria on Vancouver Island. I would take my time doing this perhaps staying in various cities for a few days. Toronto is great for opportunities but there are some other great cities. Cities like Calgary, Vancouver and Victoria among some. Don't just stay in Toronto. If you have the money travel around Vancouver Island. Take in a hockey game in Calgary. Take in a baseball game in Toronto. Take in a fishing trip. Canada is an amazing country. I currently live in the Philippines. But it is hot here and humid and I am guessing just like India. One thing the Philippines has that Canada does not have is lots and lots of friendly women! And, most do not care what color you skin is!!

It is getting harder and harder to live in Thailand. Many foreigners from Thailand are coming here in the Philippines. There are so many restrictions there and actually the people are not all that friendly towards foreigners!

yes man i am using bsnl but cheating with your nation is a very bad thing [ that is reason why people migrate from india ]

if you want that connection you can get very easy use a 500 plan pay 1000 and increase speed [ you will save 1000 bucks;) ]

If you have Internet Problems in India,
Take a BSNL connection,
Take the 1350 Combo Plan.

Bribe your local exchange guy to uncap your connection(I pay ~ Rs.2500 Each month) and you have 4MB/ps UL connection without any FUP.

So a guy living in a country making 500$ per day and have load of shit to complain, gosh. Hope younwill some day see people strugling for bread and butter. Working hole day so in the evening they can eat and sleep and still they seems much happeir than you.Whereever you will go you will go with the same mind you have and your mind will create your hell there, it will find excuses again.
Get a life dude, India is not that much a bad country, specially when you have 500$per day in your pocket or you do not know how to live and enjoy the life.
