Just wanted to share something useful. This is specifically for slideshare marketers and educational for others hehe

Problem with slideshare broken, pdf/powerpoint presentation links solved!
Well guys I've been marketing with slideshare for a while. A week ago or so.. i noticed that the slideshare links won't open when click...
I've been studying that more than 24 hours and i finely "crakced it" (after finish this post i'll go to recharge my bateries for the second problem to solve..)

Well i saw that slideshare has a tiny update on the upload page (maybe on different pages) but no where update mentioned about that and a noticed the problem for the links placed on slideshare documents, pdf's , powerpoint presentations. Simply they are "Unclicable"

After testing, tweaking more than 24 hours i figure out that slideshare now DO NOT ALLOW ANY KIND OF LINKS; website links affiliate links etc... WITHIN THE FIRST 3 Pages of pdf document's or slideshare presentations. So i hope this Helps your problem. If you want to continue using slideshare effectively for affiliate commissions you need to place your links, backlinks, affiliate links from the beginning of the 4th page of the pdf or powerpoint presentation. (My opinion is that powerpoint presentation will be the most effective now for affiliate marketers).

Anyway still got somethin else to solve.
Slideshare after publishing min time for indexing in SERP's was 3-5 hours, max 2 days.

Anyway i see that google indexes tham but does not rank tham WELL like before... I'll try to Figure out that and if i solve ill update this tread.

You're right - Slideshare wont get ranked well. Just if you add "slideshare" to your keywords. But thats what no one will do.

If you know this is the wrong section then why post it in here?

Also don't ask for "thanks" because that may backfire.

That's good to know. I just made an account yesterday and will be uploading a pdf very soon.

Yes !! My Slide share account was suspended few days back due to linking to other sites on slides. This was know when I contacted support team. I nearly got 30 to 40 presentations on my account which is making me $200 to $300 per month.

I don't agree about that they don't rank. Some good link building and bookmarking rank them very well. After boosting them to top I still saw my presentations on page 1 till the account was suspended.
