IMPORTANT: PayPal Dispute Maximum Time?

Hi, what is the maximum time limit for filling a dispute with PayPal? Google and many other sites say it is 180 days. However in my account, PayPal says that the maximum time limit for dispute is 45 days: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/buyer-complaint-outside (check the 3rd point)

Does the time limit vary from country to country, ebay or not ebay etc. ?

The time allowed for chargebacks by Visa & Mastercard is 180 days... so even if PayPal won't help, you can always initiate a chargeback on your card.
