IMPORTANT if you are runing WordPress sites

I just want to aware you guys of something that I am always seeing
if you are running a wp site

make sure to hide

your WP login default path (/login or /wp-admin)
your WP version and this is the most important thing

cause as you know guys WP is full of vulnerabilities, especially the old versions

so if anyone can see your WP version it is easy to get hacked

Hope you heard about suhosin and 95% of wordpress gets hacked due to hosting providers only but not due to your nulled or plugins or hiding stuff.

Exactly!

If you are still using shared hosting, brace yourself!

I have seen more than 1 provider set incorrect permission for the user's folder, and the users end up getting read (or even worse, write!) access to the whole /home directory.

You will do much better if you follow a "how to get x done" article from reputed sites (like digital ocean let's say) and self-host your site, than trusting your shared hosting admin.

If you are going to be a webmaster, be serious about it.
