Hey bhw, this is a very important question. if im listing something on ebay, and i put a "buy now" choice on my listing, can my auction go past the "buy now" price or will it just stop.

If you have buy it now along with auction then yes the price can go upto what ever people want to pay. And this is the important thing

"As soon as some put put a bid, the buy it now option disappears". i.e. Once some put a bid then no one can buy it using "buy it now".

The bid can go past, but why would it, be easier for people to click buy it now lol

Yeah it goes over buy now price now and then. Once you have lot of users bidding , it goes above buy now price. The key is to have enticing item, low starting price and many bidders.

It has happened yo me before . People like bidding and sometimes don't even realize they paid more for it than the bin price. Silly, but it has happened . Funnier things happen when people are selling te same item for cheaper and u still make a sale not being te cheapest price. Either they don't do their research of they pay more depending on where item is shipping from . If it's closer to them they may pay more

I doubt it would, I'm pretty sure it will max at the buy now price.
