[Important] blogspot vs domain backlinkings

OK, I have this blogspot site that review 2 products.
It's nearly 2 years old now and it's been pouring in money for me sometimes. The blog is highly optimized for the 2 products.

Then I was wondering should I move to a normal domain.

But then I remember someone said that whether I'm using a free blog or domain it doesn't matter as long as I just build backlinks.

So now I wonder... if I build 50 backlinks for a blogspot and 50 backlinks for a domain name... who will get the first page (assuming no competitors)?

Oh man, that was a good question. Maybe I should make some test about unique keyword like "mnbvcxz" by using mnbvcxz.com and mnbvcxz.blogspot.com and see which one is really good. Generally domain is better.

just buy a domain name based on your target keywords
and it will get #1 ranking in google easily

Domain all the way! However I'm not sure how you'll 301 redirect the blogspot. I'm sure some guys on here will be able to help!

it's not about your domain will win but your dotcom domain will rank easily and faster.

to make things fair, buy dotcom domain and use blogger platform for that domain.

see it after 3 months. blogger's blogs always get sandboxed for first 2 months.

why don't just buy that domain before your competitor does? end of story.

Just maintain that blogspot until you rank your own domain by making it as an authority site. Put link back on blogspot. I think that the way to save your ranking.
