Importance of interlinking and linking out.

Hey guys, I just wanted to check to see if interlinking your content is important? Also does linking out to other sites that are related (authority) sites also important? How much does it affect SEO?

Interlinking is a big part of SEO, also for good navigation around the site.

Yes, Interlink really does help on SEO.. From experience, I used a plugin that does it but it slowed my site down so have to disable it, and in a few days I lost ranking.. Not sure if it was an update or not but it affect all my site with the interlink plugin

Interlinking is important and you should do that...as far as linking to authority sites im yet to see some proof that it works...I never link to any other sites and never had issue ranking a site..

Onsite it's how you move around your PR, promoting the right pages - lets not forget to improve UX! I haven't seen a lot of good studies on linking out, though it would make sense in my mind.

Is important and easy to do, just do basic silo type to keep the link juice flowing on your website the correct way.
Linking to authority sites is usually a good thing to do.
It helps for sure.
