importance of bounce rate

hi,

i know its maybe nothing new, but i checked it myself.

I reduced bounce rate from 81% to 70% and time on website went up also from 1:01 to 1:35
my ranking for primary keyword, after 2 weeks since i made changes on website reached spot 2 from 5.

Hi rudolf21, bounce rate is one of the most important SEO factors. I usually have around 30%-35% because I do a good copywritting to my microniches.

Yeah, it works 100% in order to up in Google Serps.

i made some kind of calculator. i will give you an expample.

lats say my website is about "how to lose weight in 2 weeks"

so i do nice form on my website in good place, that anybody can see this, with fields like:
-weigth
-age
-height
-gender
-metabolism
- etc.

after filled form up, visitor is redirected to the result, depends what he filled up. example.
"You have huge overweight but you are young guy, so you can rdeuce your weight really fast. I recommend plan "Burn my punds now!" [here you give a link to ebook] "

thanks for it, i increased my sales rate also :)

tips: you can put the email field on your form and send results directly to mails, then you will get also nice customer email list
 
It does help in increasing your rankings, you can also add a video on your site to reduce the bounce rate.

Yes! Indeed. Videos help you to reduce bounce rate as it keeps user to stay on few min on your website and Internal links also help to reduce bounce rate. ;)
 
Congratulations on improving your site.

I think the easiest way of decreasing bounce rate is by offering good content.

Do you not think the ranking increase and decrease in bounce rate is due to improvements of the website?

They may not be related at all.

Don't think so I myself found a way to reduce bounce rate from 80% to the current 30% and my rankings improved a lot since then without a single website or link building change.
