Hey guys, I don't know if this is the right place to place this thread into, but I don't know where else to put it.
Anyway, I have a fitness/health/weight loss website that is created with 2014 magazine theme.
One of my free traffic method is Quora.com. I've been using it since the beginning and it generates me quite a nice traffic.

However, before, when I had lower amounts of traffic, I had more sales. But now I have like 200+ visitors a day straight from quora, and none of my products are sold in like 1 month now.

My question here is: can a website theme ruin the mood for buyers? Is it possible that they don't buy anything because of the looks of the theme?
My product reviews are fine. Most of the products are used by me or my friends so it's easier for me to create a review.
Read couple of threads that said that, looks of the theme are not so important. But I wanted to ask anyway.

I appreciate all the answers here, thank you in advance.

well 2014 is quite an old theme, have you done a responsive test? Most people use mobile devices to access the net now and a bady optimized site puts people off, nobody likes to scroll left and right to read.
you can use this free tool to check if your site is responsive with different screen sizes.

It's mobile optimized, tablet optimize and also PC. I do check that all the time. Never let anything slip. So your suggestion is to change it hm?

well it's a bit hard to tell, but yes a theme could harm. However the fact that you were having sales and are not now is a puzzle. it can only be the quality of your visitors.

I thought of that too.. When I made $150 I had like 5 visitors that day. Now I have like 590 today, no sales.. and about 200 were on my products

i assume you have social media set up, i do very well with twitter myself. Maybe you need to diversify your sources of traffic, it does seem to me that the traffic you are getting at the moment are tyre kickers and not buyers, the fact that you had better results with lower traffic is revealing the cause.
Did you change anything you did on Quora?

I answer my question regularly. Maybe 10+ a day. There is this one question that I got 30+k views on, and it's still getting more every day. I listed one of the free guides of mine and one product. Both the guide and the product got like 2k visitors from that answer solely.
Also, I have tumblr, insta, stumbleupon, twitter, facebook, pinterest. Most of my social media traffic comes from tumblr. My niche is pretty much saturated and it's hard to grow it on social media.

well it seems you know what you are doing, i think you are just having a dry patch. your theme is ok as you got sales before, you are active on Quora and getting interaction, so that's not the problem and you have active social media.
Do you have any other products you could try, maybe they are so used to seeing your product they have become blind to it.

Well this was the first time I link that product. My intro was great, that's the breaking point there I think. I have like 6 products on my page and I think that 4 of them are top quality. I use clickbank btw.
I'll chance the theme, that's not a big problem to me, but I'll lose like 1-2 full days of job, and there will surely be changes to my traffic those days..
