Hi,
There is something here that does a very similar job - you need to use some basic excel skills but nothing too hard. You can import custom fields also which is great- i just managed to upload a heap of posts with tags and thumbs!

You see Sara , the idea is not just to import Name,Description,Price,Image,category from a CSV/Excel file , but also Tags which is very important , and the most important of all is to import data to populate the 3 fields of all in one SEO Pack, which Import CSV Pro does very well ..
Where do you put the tags in the csv/excel file ...? from the plugin... Must obey this format (header row) wp_title | wp_post_date | wp_category | wp_content | key_name | key_name ...
The first five fields must be named like above, the key_name fields should be the name of each specific custom field. ... So what sould you name the tag field ..?

The tags are working fine , played around with the excel file and the pipe delimiter . the end result should be a file with extension *.csv amd the first line of this file should be like this :
wp_title|wp_post_date|wp_category|wp_content|wp_tags|
of course each row of data should have the pipe delimiter after each field.
