Implement Bitcoin payments on my website

I have a website where I accept payments using stripe + simple payments pro.

mots a simple setup as payment mechanism is on only one page on the site and it’s used to allow customers to pay for their invoices.

So they just put in their details, invoice number and amount, then pay via stripe.

I like this system but I would like to integrate Bitcoin payment as well.

if it can be added in such a way that it works with the existing system then great, if not it could be a separate link to pay by Bitcoin, but it’s got to be obvious for the customer and be easy to use, no complications.

I want the Bitcoin sent to blockchain wallet if that’s possible.

Budget: $50 - $100.

Can you elaborate your current website setup? Like the language, environment(shared/vps/etc)? Thanks

Hey David! You can try Coinbase commerce, Bitpay, Coingate, and maybe Paynetsecure.

I used BTCPay, it is free, and you can receive the bitcoin payment using your blockchain wallet.

Sure mate drop me a PM. Is it easy to do? I know there are some systems that require Woocommerce and a few other components, but my problem is getting this set up so that it integrates nicely with my existing system - because I want the user experience to be very good. Also, I have a lot on at the moment so trying to avoid spending too much time on it.

Looks good. The only thing I noticed is that all of these plugin options need to work in conjunction with woocommerce. Does that complicate things as I don't currently use woocommerce.

At the moment my setup is very simple in that I have a single page accepting payments and it is basically a box where the customer inputs the amount and clicks on pay.
Despite its simplicity, it works very well. I have a link to this page on invoices so customers can opt to visit the site and pay their invoice.

I would like an option for bitcoin payment, but I want this to either be integrated into my existing payment page, or a new system set up that accomodates bitcoin and card payments.

Its very important to me that its all streamlined so that the UX is perfect (Because I want to make paying as easy as possible).

Even if its relatively easy, I would rather have someone do this for me so that I know its done right.

Shoppy.gg is your friend I guess. I have been using them for both crypto and PayPal without issues.

Still looking for a solution at the moment guys. I am not sure shoppy.gg is the best option because I want the payment processing to be done on my site. Currently I do this with stripe and wp simple pay pro plugin for wordpress. I don't use woocommerce at the moment. As it currently stands, the user can put in their card details whilst on my site, and pay for their invoice - this looks nice and professional for me.

So I want a similar setup - full payment experience on my site, but with the option to either pay via credit/debit card (preferably using stripe) or via bitcoin (using whatever system is suitable).

I want the fee to be relatively low for the bitcoin payment, ideally want the funds going to blockchain but if they have to go elsewhere, coinbase for example, its not a problem.

I want the user experience to be top-notch as well.

It may be the case that I need a bit of customisation, for example keep current payment form in place, but with a "pay with bitcoin" option whereby they can click that button then get sent to another page (on my site), any details they've already filled in get transfered to that page, and then they can pay from there with bitcoin. That would also be fine, as long as the UX is good.

Let me know if anyone can help set that up.

Just to let you know guys, I ended up setting this up as follows -

• Installed and performed basic configuration for WooCommerce - just adding address and WooCommerce default shop pages.
• Installed Triple-a cryptocurrency plugin - https://triple-a.io/
• Set up Bitcoin.com wallet on iOS to accept payments (As this is a wallet that allows you to get an xpub ID for sending the BTC payments to, from Triple-a).
• Enabled Triple-a in Woocommerce as a payment form, set up triple-a to send payments to BTC wallet and added the xpub ID from above.

That was the best way I found to get it set up neatly and it is now fully functional after about 2 hours of work.

On a side note, I also set up a few more things so that I could accept payment in a custom amount (Allowing customers to pay for an invoice by entering the payment account, invoice number etc).
For that, I had to also install the following two plugins -

• Name your price
• Product Add-ons

Just posting this information in case anyone else finds this thread and is trying to do something similar.
